Paul Allen, Vice President - Creative Director, is a well-known DRTV veteran with 15 years experience. He has won numerous awards for his writing, producing, and directing including awards from the Electronic Retailing Association, Jordan Whitney Monitoring Services, Infomercial Monitoring Services (IMS), Joey Awards, Telly Awards, New York Festivals and more. Paul has likely had more shows ranked in the top 50 of the IMS report than any other single person. His expertise at crafting successful Long and Short Form campaigns has put him in high demand. Clients Paul has worked with include AOL, Clorox, Microsoft, NutriSystem, Orange Glo, Oreck, P & G and more.
At Hawthorne Direct, Paul oversees all aspects of the creative process on both DRTV and Videoactive projects, from concept through completion. He works closely with clients to ensure their goals are met and that they receive the most powerful creative executions possible across all channels. He specializes in seamlessly integrating his clients' DRTV campaigns with their web and other marketing efforts to maximize results.
Prior to his career in direct response, Paul worked in both traditional spot production and independent film.
