hawthorne direct signs Irving, TX – NEST ENTERTAINMENT as a new DRTV media client

Fairfield, IA - hawthorne direct, the direct response TV advertising agency, recently signed Irving, TX - based, Nest Entertainment as a new long form media client. In-FINN-Ity Direct was the producer for Nest Entertainment’s latest show, “Animated Hero Classics Collection”. The DRTV media campaign for Nest Entertainment is being managed by hawthorne direct. The infomercial will begin airing June 7, 1999.

Nest Entertainment is offering their award winning “Animated Hero Classics Collection” video series to the consumer via DRTV. The tape series is geared towards children, with the purpose of educating, entertaining and building character in the young viewers. This series was developed to help adults instill lasting values and an interest in history in their children.

The initial tape offered is the ‘Thomas Edison’ video, accompanied by a companion 48-page activity work book. This interactive book is filled with various fun activities to help reinforce the character-building lessons in the videos. As a part of the introductory offer, the consumer will also receive Volume One of the “Animated Hero Classics Music Series” on home video and on audio cassette.

The “Animated Hero Classics Collection” features leaders, explorers, visionaries, inventors and freedom fighters. Each video captures and delivers the essence of its hero’s exceptional qualities – including George Washington’s courage, Christopher Columbus’ determination, Florence Nightingale’s compassion and Thomas Edison’s perseverance.

The “Animated Hero Classics Collection” is recommended family entertainment by the prestigious Dove Foundation and is also the recipient of the Award of Excellence from the Film Advisory Board.
