hawthorne direct Hires Dutch Haaland for the Position of Creative Supervisor

Fairfield, IA - hawthorne direct, the direct response TV advertising agency, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Dutch Haaland as Creative Supervisor. Haaland has 20 years of film and television experience in Los Angeles, working as line producer, associate producer and production manager on hundreds of network TV programs, commercials and feature films. For hawthorne, he has relocated to the Fairfield, Iowa headquarters and will be coordinating creative project budgets, schedules, crew hiring while producing and directing both long and short form DRTV commercials.

Hawthorne, founder, chairman and executive creative director of hawthorne direct.

Previous to joining hawthorne, Haaland was the production manager for “Getaway,” a reality based TV pilot, which aired in April, 2001. Among other recent major projects, he was the associate producer for the 2000 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and the production manager for the 1997, 1998 and 1999 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Haaland is a member of the American Association of Producers and the American Film Institute.

He will be working from hawthorne direct’s home office in Fairfield, and residing in Fairfield with his wife Fran Cuciti.
