Fairfield, IA - hawthorne direct, the direct response TV advertising agency, is expanding its client services department to better serve their growing number of accounts. Mary K. Papp was promoted from account manager to senior account manager and Amie Greiner was recently promoted from account coordinator to senior account and operations coordinator. The most recent additions to the client services department of hawthorne direct include Heidi Harlan, Rachel Mills and Amanda Wagler. Harlan, Mills and Wagler are all serving as account coordinators.

In Papp’s new position she is serving as the primary back-up for the director of client services. She also assists in the planning, training, and implementation of all new initiatives or assigned projects within client services. Papp continues to work directly with clients on a day-to-day basis, monitoring their media results to ensure maximum profitability and performance. She also specializes in short-form direct response television and integrated marketing services, bringing new ideas to help clients extend the life of their DRTV campaigns. Her portfolio of clients includes Aero Products, Bose, Fantom Technologies Direct, Dermal tone, BRAUN, Time Life, WallMagic, Aladdin Industries and Wagner Spray Tech Corp.
Papp began working for hawthorne direct over six year ago. She has worked in new business development and in media. She was the manager of media operations and assistant to the vice president of media. She then moved into the client services department and became an account manager. Papp’s background includes serving as a freelance court reporter and as the marketing product manager for a brick and mortar manufacturing company.
Greiner is responsible for account strategy formulation, account management, media research, media reporting, and handling the data setup process for new clients between hawthorne direct and various telemarketing and fulfillment companies. She assists hawthorne’s account managers and works with product development and backend campaign management. She performs media, telemarketing and fulfillment research and analysis.
Greiner was an account coordinator for two years and previously had trained in short and long form direct response television buying as a media assistant. She was formerly the routing analyst for the international business of Telegroup/Isterra in Fairfield.
Harlan came to hawthorne direct from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she designed and maintained databases and worked in Kirkwood’s technology center. She was formerly a technical service representative for Stockpoint of Corallville, Iowa and a customer service representative for Telegroup/Isterra in Fairfield.
Mills was most recently the manager of operations for Igaea, Inc of Fairfield. During the company’s growth period she also became the acting director of order fulfillment. Prior to working for Igaea, Mills was a customer service team leader for Telegroup/Isterra of Fairfield, and then the operations manager for Telegroup/Isterra’s North American Customer Service. Mills was formerly with Quorum Legal Staffing in Mountain View, California, as a paralegal.
Wagler was previously with Telegroup/Isterra in Fairfield, where she served as a customer service supervisor, later as an enhanced services supervisor and finally as a retail specialist. She also gained experience in telemarketing at Intellisell Corporation, formerly based out of Omaha, Nebraska, where she was a production manager.
