Fairfield, IA - hawthorne direct, the direct response TV advertising agency, is expanding its media services department to better serve their growing number of accounts. Recent additions include the new hire of Christine Alderette and return of Jeff Copsey. Alderette and Copsey are both serving as media buyers. Libby Williamson was also promoted from media buying assistant to media buyer.

Christine Alerette is focusing on long form media buying. She was most recently with Pinnacle Media as a broadcast buyer for CortiSlim. She also served as a cable buyer for Castle Advertising/Ronco Inventions. Additional experience includes working in Hispanic radio and television sales for Liberman Broadcasting and LA Metro radio sales for KLSX (Howard Stern), KRLA and KROQ. Alderette is a member of the Southern California Broadcast Association.
Alderette is working from hawthorne direct’s Los Angeles office.
Copsey rejoined hawthorne direct as a media buyer after a brief stint with Mercury Media. Copsey was formerly with hawthorne direct for five years in both the capacities of media buyer and media account manager. Copsey was previously with Williams Worldwide where he served as a media buyer and client operations manager. Prior to working for Williams Worldwide, Copsey was a media buyer for Positive Response. He has over a decade of direct response experience including both the station perspective of televison media sales and the agency understanding of purchasing, allocating and managing media.
Copsey is working from the hawthorne direct satellite office near San Luis Obispo, CA.
Libby Williamson has been promoted from media buying assistant to media buyer. Williamson has been with hawthorne for nearly three years. She has assisted hawthorne’s leading buyers and gained much experience with paid programming and 800 number assignment. Prior to working at hawthorne, Williamson worked in beauty retail management.
