Wilcox brings to the hawthorne direct team a wide range of professional experience. He most recently served as information technology specialist for the University of Iowa. He also acted as an educational adviser, a distance education course coordinator and was an instructor for ten years. Wilcox taught credit courses for three academic departments -- English, Rhetoric, and American Studies -- teaching students literature, American culture studies, speech and writing.
During his final two years at the University, Wilcox decided to return to his creative roots, and completed a number of freelance projects for hawthorne direct's marketing department.
According to company founder, Chairman and Executive Creative Director Timothy R. Hawthorne, such breadth of experience made Wilcox an ideal fit for hawthorne's new project.
